Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Our C Class is at the dealer for a minor fault. They had no C Class courtesy cars. Or E Classes.

Not exactly a great photo, but have just returned from a few days in Tromsø, where it was very cloudy and we were lucky to find any clear sky at all (in fact three hours inland in Finland).

The red is rare, but otherwise it was not a great Aurora (on a scale of 0 - 5, this was a 0!), but feel very lucky to have got to see it at all. Saw a more traditional intense green wavy curtain from the plane above the clouds (not possible to photograph). Need a better lens for the camera - 25 second exposure so the movement is lost. I will have to go back. Fantastic place.

Yes. With a bit of care, it can easily be done much better than this, but my Maglite was low on batteries, so I didn't bother. Thanks for the speaker-comment

Book recommendation

It is always the same, getting tired after a while of the long and short lenses, needing an honest 50mm to reconnect with the small moments of the day.
