Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Whereabouts is the canal shot Jamie? I suppose all canal shots look similar? I was wondering  Kings Cross/Regents Canal maybe?

Hi Big, it's actually the River Nene in Peterborough. Most of my flat water shots will be of The Nene or the lakes off it.

The one above it also the Nene, a couple of miles upstream where it's a little more picturesque...

Apparently it has the distinction of the slowest river in England, so it is usually quite flat...

Thanks Jamie. Duxford, 2011. I was trawling through the folder and this leapt out at me. Needed some photoshopping, but my old 40D is struggling now.

Yep I guess so, you can get a 7D of ebay for about 500 squids now, sell the 40d for about £200(?), sorted!

Only problem Jamie is that I've spent a bit freely recently, and now we're going through a round of redundancies at work. I'm ok so far, but I'm not counting my chickens just yet. Maybe by next summer the dust will have settled.
