Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Memories. I haven't been to Speedway since I used to go and watch the Exeter Falcons in the '60s.

When I was a kid in the '70's, went to see the White City Rebels

Bit dark though, 12800 ISO on a slow lens!!!

High ISO 12800

My brother and I used to go with our uncle and watch speedway and stock car/banger racing in the 1970s. My most vivid memory of hose cold foggy nights was the smell of fried onions!

Nice photo Don. It's given me this strange compulsion to play Dvorjak's New World Symphony.

And it's given me the idea of taking my books, discs and guitars and go living there.

Don

Perhaps I haven't dealt with the world long and hard enough to deserve peace, but yes, it must be a peaceful place to live..

Lola T 70 or Chevron? Can't quite see enough with that guy blocking the rear.

Posted on: 23 March 2014 by Tony2011

For my money it's a T70. The Parsons/Hass stickers give it away. Nice photo!

Posted on: 23 March 2014 by joerand

I'm not so sure. My T70 looks decidedly different.

Posted on: 23 March 2014 by joerand

Jack likes his T70 straight up .....

.... others while lighting up ......

..... some are plain enthralled ....

..... still others just can't decide .....

A friend, Nigel Hulme used to own the Blue ex-Jo Bonnier coupe, I saw it smashed up pretty bad right in front of us at Brands,  BOAC 500/6 hours (not sure) with Bonnier driving.

Very stylish (pretty) car .
