Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Here, for no good reason, is some very nice cheese (Cornish Yarg, wrapped in nettles, in case you're interested). You'll have to buy your own though, because we ate all of it.

It was delicious G - fresh and citrussy but also creamy. It's made by Lynher Dairies in West Cornwall. Cheese Cellar in Vauxhall, SW London, are the distributors. Lynher also do another Yarg, wrapped in wild garlic leaves, which has a very different character.

Safe from internet shopping I'd imagine! You can smell it 100m down the street.

Thanks G, she was originally kiting at the far end of the beach but I managed to convince her to surf past the rock so I could get the angle - she was not very keen at first as I think she thought I was some kind of perv (moi?). Here she is in more detail.

Indeed. Where I live I get attacked if I don't take photos of my neighbour's kids. Here is a recent example which proves kids can be happy without the latest iPad - all you really need is a stick and an old tire.

Must use that to recalibrate my kids perspective on life beyond electronic devices!

I love that cheese which is quite freely available when I go back to the West Country. The only place I've found it up here is Paxton & Whitfield in Jermyn St. We last had some at Christmas. Very nice with a good pickled onion.  Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Steve - what pickled onions do you eat? Homemade, or branded?
