Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Presume it's a MF jobby, like a 503 then, rather than an Xpan or summint...
Look forward to seeing the results Fabio...and cheers Jamie. Had a few weeks holiday so a chance to keep my eye in - so to speak.
Compliments from you guys mean something.

It's a Sigma DP3 Merill. A marvelous tool if you're masochistic and into self flagellation...
I just looked it up - very nice design.
Why do you say 'masochist'?

Well you have to hang around for about half an hour while it focuses. You then look at the screen on the camera and think 'Wait, that looks nothing like the picture I just thought I took'. If you have to go much above 2-400 ISO, forget it. Jpeg's are laughably bad so you must use RAW. Only you have to use Sigma's own software to bring out those RAW images, which is as speedy in operation as a glacier rushing across the Alps. And has a similar effect on the operating speed of your computer's OS.
But then, then you bring up the X3F file in Sigma's software and the image from that sensor and lens the first few times is just like 'Wow!'
It is nice to look at an hold in a Bauhaus way too and when the image is right it's really right. There are several opinions on t'net explaining it is a camera to take your time with and they're right. It is like a pocket size MF camera, you just have to treat it like a MF camera that needs a lot of time and patience. Not like a pocket camera.
