Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

That Sigma (+ a good eye) gives great results Jamie.

Some very friendly horses idling away their day. So friendly, that once the one on the right made the first move they all decided to come over and say hello to end my attempts at a nice pastoral scene!

Fun at ISO 25,600 in a very dark village tonight.

I like that. Quintessentially 'English' in a very direct way.

Thanks. I can't believe how much better this camera is than my seven year old 40D. Obviously it should be, but it's gobsmacking.

A 5D3. It's probably over the top for me, but I've wanted full frame for a while now, and 6fps is as slow as I can go for my action stuff, so the 5D2 and 6D are too slow, 1DX way too expensive. As it happens, a couple of things taken in the burglary won't be replaced, and I'm taking the cash option, so it's not really costing me anything.

It certainly is. This afternoon at work we are expecting a few visitors overhead: two Lancasters, Vulcan, Spitfire, Hurricane, and maybe some other aircraft, all on their way to the Clacton Air Show. I've brought the camera in with my 70-200 f2.8 and 1.4x, so I'm just hoping I don't balls it up! Too many settings to play with
