Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

It certainly is. This afternoon at work we are expecting a few visitors overhead: two Lancasters, Vulcan, Spitfire, Hurricane, and maybe some other aircraft, all on their way to the Clacton Air Show. I've brought the camera in with my 70-200 f2.8 and 1.4x, so I'm just hoping I don't balls it up! Too many settings to play with

Meant to say if you're taking in flight pictures try and keep shutter speed below 1/250 but above 1/125, shows a bit of prop blur then but you may well need to 'pan' to keep planes sharp if from the side...

Misinterpretation of the day: I saw this in the list of recent posts and thought it was a Hi-Fi Corner post about placing stones in Bowers & Wilkins speakers as some sort of eccentric tweak. Imagine my surprise etc.

I like the crucifixion pic above Kevin - where is it?
