Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Thanks very much

Thanks J. It'll never last!
The main river feeding Skurdalsvatn in Norway. Taken on Wednesday.
The scenery there is so epic that a camera cannot catch the scale of it, but something less massive like a small river can be caught I think.

You are a teaser, Jamie!
I took this one last Wednesday [10/9/14], and it is definitely in Norway!
Hopefully my 35 mm films will yield some nice pictures too. This was was done with an ancient Canon Ixus that is not quite working properly these days!

Bizarrely George, looking at the thread on my phone, your picture is the wrong way up.
Hence the Australia reference!
Turn the phone up the other way!

George it's also upside down on my iPad!
It's the right way up on my mini MAC!
Veeery strange indeed!
I have a similar photo shot on film which I'll show if it comes out nicely. Potentially a much better picture if it all works out. I took three 36 exposure 35 mm films with a fifty year old range finder, so all things being equal there should be some lovely pix in a fortnight! Being developed in the old style as pure analogue, rather than digital scanning and printing. 8 by 5 inch prints, to scan for the Forum, but like analogue master recordings, it can be amazing, or terrible!

PS: Almost all the digital photos from Norway may be seen - with annotations - in my thread called Norway, just below ...

Computers ... you have to love them for being even more human than humans in their failings!

George, I think you need to try standing on your head. Or get some one else to stand on your head for you.
