Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

My new friend. A local Heron seems to have taken a shine to me and comes and says hello when I see him(her?) Gets close, though not too close.

Very sweet composition, Jamie, and a nice capture of the bird's state of mind.

So the real story goes something like this:
D (boy): this bench is my bench, the whole bench is mine and I love it
Cue me thinking cute photo moment sitting them together
H(girl): I want to sit next to Dempsey on the bench because I'm a poser and secretly love photos
D: but this bench isn't big enough for the two of us 2 year olds!
H: screams at Dempsey
D: pulls the strop face
Perfect photo.
This pair crack me up they're hilarious together fighting like an old married couple then there's the cute
times they hold hands in the shops and people think they're twins.
Commentary from H's mum.

What did the Romans ever do for us...?

Difficult to put the camera down and just breathe Pompei in [it still smells of ash]. The Roman ruins that ruin all other Roman ruins...

Next Destination on the cruise (I was working, honest) was Messina in Sicily. I went for a long walk around the disused docks...

So where's the foetus going to gestate?
Symbolic of his struggle against reality.
