Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Awesome pad G. Would love to live there.

It's been a long time in the making! You posted photos of this house years ago, didn't you? Did they run out of money for a while?

This one is pretentiously titled Composition in B&W:

Last year Winky - we thought they would be 'In for Christmas2013!' But a local hand built kitchen and contractual fall out have delayed completion sadly.

Still, client very happy, so all good.

Good to hear. I really like the place. (Round our area there are 10 "craftsman mcmansions" or misplaced faux tudor/hacienda/villa pieces of c&@p built for every decent west coast contemporary home. It's not lack of money, it's a lack of taste.)

Winky do you live in Canada's version of Essex.

I suspect Graham's house looks the way it does because the local planning department, suggested it matched other buildings in the vicinity.

Perhaps you should lobby you local council to implement something similar. What's not to like about log cabins.

Or, alternatively, the architect showed the Planning Department just how it is possible to build on disused agrarian industrial sites without suburbanising the landscape.

Very nice composition, George. Love the reflections on the wet sand.

The yard

The yard as of today. Plenty of leaves remaining on the trees which the snow is happy to ignore.

Dear Haim,

My sister-in-law took about twenty snaps with an iPhone, before she dropped it by accident. No harm came to the iPhone, but the best photo was missed as the water came over my Wellingtons!

But that is a nice photo! The little terrier is nearly thirteen and still a feisty little old lady! She will never slow down, and junior is just a year old! Both of them decided that I was a fun person and so they decided to try to play the fool with me at every opportunity over the weekend!

Best wishes from George

It's nice having nature on your doorstep, while living in a city.

Jamie where is that?

Posted on: 25 November 2014 by JamieWednesday

It's an area known as Nene Park in Peterborough, which is pretty much next door to where I live.
