Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

I've been away from the day job for some months due to an ankle problem and have put my amateur photography hobby on to a more professional footing with a view to having a back-up plan to run alongside or instead of the day job. It's been very enjoyable (and very hard work) but I've shot more in the past 6 months than ever before and had some pleasing pics:
Also put a little video together of a recent model shoot which was great fun to do.

Nah, not for a photo like that J.
Thanks for that Kevin
Oh, and thanks for the 3 points last week...

This was the highlight of 2014 for me.
Less than one-third of one percent excavated so far. Simply mind-boggling.
(I am still going through the photos of my China trip with a view to making a photobook, so will post more when I can. But it's a delight to get onto the Terracotta Warriors stuff today...)

Very nice Tony - where was it taken? Lake District?
Hi Kevin, yes, it's Derwent Water in the Lake District.
'Photons'?
Nice pic of course...
Nice one Tony. I think that photographer should have been standing where you were.
...and two dogs! I know I mustn't keep taking photos of Derwent Water but it's on our doorstep up there & it's such a lovely place - every day the light's different. There are more photographers per square inch on the shores of the lake every morning than just about anywhere else I suspect.

I've photographed it as the sun rose a couple of times and it can be stunning. Beautiful place
Some photos taken at Greenwich Observatory ......
