Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Who needs turbines?
We are up north for a few days, treating the car to some real roads.

Stunning shots!
We had gloriously clear sky for the duration and were able to watch the whole thing from our front porch - morning coffee to hand.
The filtered light and chilly air was a sensory reminder that we are indeed sitting in space.

Great shots Jamie. Thanks for posting.
We watched a murky grey sky go darker down in Guildford

Thanks James
We were very lucky, it was solid cloud earlier but gradually started breaking a little as The Moon started moving across. By the time we had the max of the partiality we were going to get, the sky started clearing completely. Which all meant I got a mixture of cloudy, atmospheric shots for the first half and direct ones of the eclipse on the back half.
Shame it wasn't total, but there you go...
Quite fun experimenting with settings on the camera. Thank you Fuji for giving me 1/32000!

Hello Paul, thank you.Hope all is fine. You've got a nice camera for sure, almost like pocket, but I'm looking for a FF,so I'm planning to buy 7s. Even if my lenses are Minolta a mount I could use original Sony adaptor from E mount(7s' body camera) to A mount(my lenses). How's your big Audi a8?!

I took some this morning. The colouring of sky is weird. Cool area around the sun and warm elsewhere. Jamie, do you have shots without the accentuated colouring?
Posted on: 20 March 2015 by JamieWednesday
Yep. I saw the same, so have played on it somewhat in a Ming the Merciless style.

Great shots Jamie. It wasn't easy was it?

It was challenging but in a good way. I hadn't planned to be off work today but my son and I picked up a bug, him worse than me. So it was a spur of the moment thing really. while he was sleeping I set Up the X-T1 on a tripod with 50-230 + variable Nd filter in the garden and then sat indoors using phone as remote. I think flexibility of the set up was key. Variable filter, remote control and stupidly fast shutter speed. Worked out quite well.
