Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Hi EJS.

August 2002. Not much changes, does it !

The benefits of National Parks, they are re introducing Bison, so that will be interesting for the Wolves.  That's Mount Rundle btw. I'm lucky that it's only a 1.5 hour scenic drive from home.

Our daughter's In-Laws live in Canmore. We must have passed Rundle, the mountain that is, not the Methodist Minister for whom it was named, at least a 100 times. It never fails to delight.

Mind you, comming the other way down the Trans Canada, looking at Cascade, is another sight for sore eyes.

Scan An old freight car carrying some iron melting containers(what's the English, please?)in a dismissed industrial area in Milan. It's an industrial archeology park now.Breda-Falck industries sadly ended their long experience in industrial foundry some years ago.Lot of workers at home...

Excellent photo – I love monochrome for catching the mood & lighting in scenes such as this.

The english name for these containers is Crucible

A ceramic or metal container in which metals or other substances are melted.

I worked in a shop like that in 1990.  I had to quit because the owner was never there but at the bar and customers were not so happy about my service ans skills.
