Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Hi Guy,

Getting there, but I didn't feel comfortable or confident using the Nikon so I took a few pictures with the replacement Leica that I got last year. One of the above was with the Leica and the other with the Nikon. Flickr has the details.............

.....................in fact, if you go into the detailed file in Flickr, there is so much data, I am lost !. I tend to point, zoom, shoot

and that's it !

(I don't think the replacement Leica is as good as the one that was stolen)

OK, so not my greatest pic ever. And he's not even in focus. But I've been trying to catch this little f****r while I had a camera with me for over two years now.

He was still quite far away and this wasn't my longest lens but I feel like I've achieved some kind of resolution to my struggles.

Hello my bright blue but very elusive friend...

Hello my bright blue but very elusive friend...

I would be very happy with that. King FIshers are on my list of things I really want to photograph, along with lightening and the Northern Lights, and I've tried loads of times close to where I live but they don't stay still for long enough.  Well done.
