Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Love the reflections, Eloise.

Yes, Jamie, you can borrow him. You will find him a very articulate man with high principals and a beautiful language. If you need a good politician though I would look some place else.

It astonishing to contemplate what might be the equivalent in 4 years' time. A series of heartwarming photographs to help us fondly remember the orange buffoon? Not likely, I'd assert.

Thanks Jamie. The fist bump with the janitor just shades it for me. But there's not a duffer there.

No, just this one; I think me and Photobucket have just had our last dance!

What is your usual camera?
It seems to have let me copy another one! Glen Etive, Scotland.
Hopefully, a sequence of three from yesterday's jaunt in the mountains near Aviemore.
Yay!

Those photos are seriously nice Ian! Thanks for sharing
From an early morning walk last weekend. Our house is pretty much within a stone's throw of the lake.
Unfortunately, I have seem to have lost the original Raw file. The curse of storing digital files rather than film negatives...
And at last a selfie

My favourite/most used is a Leica M9, but I also use an iPhone SE and a Nikon D3300. I've also got a Nikon FM2 for shooting film on. I like the Leica because it's very easy to use, is completely manual, beautifully made and I like rangefinder cameras.
My M8 shutter has deconstructed after 10 years...horrible crunching noise and not pretty inside.
I've replaced it meantime with a Typ 109 which is very nice...Everything manual in the right place and a cracking f1.7 24-75 lens.

Kevin and Eloise - I hope you don't mind if I chime in, but this is also my experience. In fact, when looking for a new camera I wanted something as close as possible to my old Nikkormat FTn - which was also totally manual. And I never bonded with my DSLR with all the buttons and functions which always seem to get in the way of a good photo opportunity. I ended up with Leica (M246) myself and found it to be an even better proposition. Unfortunately, that means no more Naim upgrading though...
Leica Typ 246? That's an M Monochrom I think. Very nice camera Mr Fjeld. What lens(es) do you use with it?

Thanks Kevin! I use an Elmarit 28 ASPH and an APO Summicron 50mm. Strange as it may seem the Elmarit 28 is my favourite but that may be because it fits my style of photography more. I'd love a 90mm for portraits but will likely go for an old Elmarit or something later on. I guess it's the Naim of photography in a way that old lenses and amplifiers can still hold their own compared to more modern products.
Do you have any particular favorite lense of format yourself Kevin?
