Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

I guess there will be dancing all night, but I doubt you'll find many gentlemen there...

It looks uncannily like one of the Martian spaceships from "War of the Worlds"

If you turn the pic upside down it looks like white sand in a clear blue sea

And if I turn the picture sidewise (clockwise) I definitely can see a bride and a groom.

Nice one Gian Luigi
I have a long way to go if I want to be an accomplished street photographer as I don't like to invade people's private space. But today I peeked over someones shoulder and managed to take a photo of their cameraphone - so I'm getting better at it
This is the Tall ship Statsraad Lehmkuhl of Bergen arriving home after a 3 month journey.
Another wonderful walk in the local forrest tarnished by history. All of these photos are from an area which was used as a prison camp by the German occupying forces. Over 90 russian soldiers as well as a few Norwegian resistance fighters died in this camp. Some were executed and the rest starved to death. Most of the physical objects were blown up after the war but the trees in the last photo are from the period.

They say that one picture is worth a thousand words and I maintain that a few good words (or just a proper title) always add another dimension to the picture we are looking at.
That's why my photos production has stopped...

From yesterday evening. It all started out dark and nice but ended even better with glorious foggy conditions.
The Christmas shopping spree has started. This is the central plaza "Torgallmenningen" in Bergen.
