Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Thanks Randy.
From the early morning dog walk today. This lake is right at the back of our house.

Thanks, Fjeld. It was taken during an art festival in the Chicago Loop. Each corner of this particular intersection was painted in a different color and you are looking at the north-west red corner. The other colors were blue green and yellow. The glass facade of the building was also treated with a red transparent film. Like always, there is no crop in my images and you are looking at exactly what I had in the viewfinder.

My grandchildren came to visit today and I had an opportunity to document their play

Sorry to hijack the photo thread, but I spotted the grandchildren word & felt a need to post my today experience: Grandson (two & a bit) came for an all day visit & lunch. Naim was on background music duties & I noticed he was showing interest, so I asked him if he wanted to listen some more. I selected an album 'Mesa Sunrise' an atmospheric native american drum & flute with a lot of bird, animal & natural wind & water sounds - mood music with dynamics. He was transfixed & rooted to my lap, he would not get off & on to the floor, this was really getting to him; he first commented on the bird song, then the stream water, then the first drum, then the second, then the pan pipes he either said something or gestured in the stereo direction when they came in. He really picked up on stereo, & it wasn't a simple left or right, when I asked him about the big drum, he pointed straight to the middle. When I went back to normal music he relaxed & went back to play with toys, then I turned up the volume for his Mum to listen to the new Claire Martin. The little fella said she sings 'like Nanny' ..... so he's not got a golden ear after all

Isn't it great to have experiences like that? Now you can just forget about having the stereo system all for yourself in the future
On a good system birdsong, drums and other sounds must sound pretty life like. And with the cognitive orientation of children it must be strange to hear sounds like that inside rather than outside.
Fjeld,
It is nice to see kids playing with real physical toys and not some silly video game.

Thumbs up to that Haim! Although I have to admit I was very disappointed after having bought Stiga Hockey and football game and they weren't really that interested. I was very interested though Still, I foresee an entertaining future with remote controlled cars and boats!
Anyway, here's a photo "Cut in half":
