Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

's funny John Lewis has a 'Way Out'.  Anyone remember 'Way In' at Harrods..?!

I certainly do!! Top floor, full of the latest (late 60s early 70s) fashions in clothes. Memories fade but I think it also had a small coffee shop  and record shop in there too...

There's something about these places...

You are right about that! I've been thinking over and over again what this photo reminds me of and now I know. You kind of expect to see Deep throat from All The Presidents Men lurking in the shadows

There is a thread at the Leica Forum where one can take photos of miniatures. There are som really clever photos there. Here's my take on it. The Action Man soldiers are from my childhood and I never thought I'd find any use for them, but just couldn't throw them in the bin. I must stress that the Barbie doll is not mine

...not that there's anything wrong with boys playing with Barrie dolls!

True, but I remember my mate's father complaining when we were playing with Action Men describing them as dolls. I felt insulted and thought they're not dolls but soldiers. Now I can agree on the term dolls with guns...

On a much larger scale, here's Paddington station in London, with that magnificent arched Brunel roof:
