Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Lac du Salagou

Depressingly, despite such glorious weather beforehand, large swathes of the Languedoc were hit by a hugely destructive crop-wipe-out frost two nights ago (as were Champagne Chablis - yet again - and the Jura.) It's particularly rare for Languedoc to get hit. More on the way this week apparently, and all vines are fully bud-broken so will be a tense time in Bordeaux and Burgundy.

Yep. I heard it got a bit chilly and so soon after last year's hail damage too.
