Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Nice pic Seakayaka.

Grnnngh .... I am forced to make a suggestion though 'cos aaargghh it's my one eeekkkhkk, consistent bugbear with pictures ffnnnnggghhgh.

I believe it may be even better were it straight, i.e. the verticals of the case and the door frame were actually vertical.

Still not perfect as it's not my work, but a very quick roll of the editing tool:

I know that everyone here has good intentions. Never-the-less, I think that it would be a good idea if we decided that nobody alters anyone's images without a prior permission from the person who captured it.

Sorry...

No worries, if I am going to print and frame a photo then I would be a bit more particular.

In this particular instance I enjoyed the various lines in the image along light and shadows created by the museum lighting.

Fabio,

If I may say so, the photograph is missing its whites, becoming tonally a little flat. Shouldn't the clouds be white instead of medium grays?

Haim,

of course you may.I uploaded a colour pic with the same subject, camera previously set in colour mode.As you probably can see,the clouds are not completely white. That's why they are not rendered in pure white on the B/W pic.I think that's the reason. The short wall on the right of the pic, instead,in white in colour but also in B/W.Hope this helps but some good other guys' opinion would be worth.
