Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Hi Fabio,
It's only 300 meters from our house. We are lucky to live 5 minutes from the town center but still live almost in the middle of the forrest with lakes, mountains, lovely views etc. On the downside the public transport leaves something to be desired, but I can live with that We live in a town called Bergen on the western coast of Norway.
Flying Crow at Moorage
From this weekend at the seaside - cycling by sunflowers field.
Kayaking in a dam.
Late Winter Rain in Seattle
Just cycled from down there.

We shall be calling in on 27th July. Courtesy the Azura.
Taking the cable railway then a short hike through the woods and past a few lakes to the top of the hill where there is an old Viking hut and work area, before wandering back down and along the quayside to look at your Avatar. We've done this a few times over the past 10 years.
I gather it only rains twice a year in Bergen......once from January to June, then again from July to December

The "hill" is Rundemanen, with the old radio transmitter on top. And the Viking hut is stone, cut into the side of the hill.
We usually take the Fløyen railway going up, then wander down the path through the houses above Bryggen back to the quayside

now that is nice Don! And you've been here a few times already! It is indeed beautiful here and I feel I can say that without bragging as I'm not a local by birth. I came here to study at the university in 1992 and I totally fell in love with the place and my wife - and the rain...
How long up the coast will the Azura take you? Myself I've only gone as far north on the west coast as Sognefjorden which is spectacular, but I would love to go further north of the coast.
Hi Mr Fjeld,
This time the ship calls at Stavanger, Flåm, Olden and Bergen.
Previous visits have all included Geiranger as well, but that's as far north as we've been in Norway.
The views in the fjords and the hill walking, especially from Geiranger, Flam, Olden and Bergen all have spectacular views. We plan to walk back down to Flam from Myrdal (again !) and we intend (again) to take the short walk to the Briksdalbre glacier from Olden.
We are quite looking forward to it all. I can well understand why you decided to stay after university.

That's going to be quite a trip! Only been to Myrdal myself when the train stops on the way to Geilo. Have you been to Ægir Brewery in Flåm - the Viking Hall/brewery? Their beers are fabulous btw.
I hope you'll post some pictures from your vacation in this thread - I would love to see them!

I now hope we have time to visit the Viking Hall/Brewery
If I manage to capture one or two good pictures during our trip, I will post them. In my case, a lot depends on luck, i'm afraid
