Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

We’re you just in the audience or get access as an “official” photographer.

Thanks for the like Haim. No, it's just three stones. No idea why they are there but I keep coming back to them

It is a sweet motif of trios; the three dark rises on the horizon, their reflections on the water, the tree rocks and then you and your two dogs witnessing all that. The trails on the westerns side of the lake we walk around are still under water from all the recent floods forcing us to stay  on the eastern side. That keeps us close to the river and we cannot escape the strong smell of dead fish. It will take some time for things to return to normal.

Nice analysis of the photo Haim

Apart from the dead fish this must be a wonderful place to go for a swim in the afternoon?

And some more water from today's trekking.

The evening walk with the dogs resulted in an interesting find. At first I thought it was an adder and I pulled the dogs towards me. But then I discovered what it was - lying there so beautiful in the grass surrounded by the odd flowers. Beautiful - and liberal! What happened that made it come off  in the first place - in the thick of the woods?

Oxblood

Actually, I took the 810/105 to capture the Cooper brothers who revisited our yard but they were in no mood for posing and flew away. The wife's plant was the consolation object which thankfully remained stationary though the fast shifting light gave me less than two minutes to enjoy the transparent orange glow.

Since there was a bit of a watery theme...

This is the 'beach' at the bottom of our garden. And the river is just sublime to swim in when the weather is hot (as it is currently - very, in fact - I'm sure you heard about the fires in Provence).
