Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

As an airforce brat growing up in Australia, we'd bike down to the runway and watch the Dassault Mirages taking off and landing. Awesome, especially at night. Those static vertical dark bars in the exhaust plume are an interesting phenomenon. We could see those in the Mirage exhausts. too. There is a scientific explanation for them that I won't repeat here.

Thanks Haim It rains on average 250 days a year over here and the clouds filled with water is pressed towards the mountains surrounding the town. I sometimes wonder how I cope - but then I think about the bitterly cold winters where I grew up in the eastern part of the country.... I'd take a few raindrops any day.

Yes it is from the castle which was build for defense purposes...
