Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Trail at Mt Rainer ? Looks familiar. White River campground hike to Emmons Glacier. Spent a wonderful week there in August celebrating with ten close friends who all moved to the Pacific NW together 40 years ago.

‘afraid not Jeff. Far more mundane, but non-the-less really enjoyable.
It was in Yoho National Park, Canadian Rockies, BC. But the light and colours are typical of the NW States as well, beautiful countries.

Well then, make your way a bit south on one of your next trips and enjoy the similarities. Rainier has changed (evolved) alot over the forty years we have visited regularly. The resting place of my ashes when the time comes will be in a spot very similar to that.
