Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

As it was a Beautiful, Sunny Autumnal Day I went for a walk along the River Purwell in Bedforshire. These are some shots I took using a Canon EOS600D that I am learnning my way around.

As an airforce brat growing up in Australia, we'd bike down to the runway and watch the Dassault Mirages taking off and landing. Awesome, especially at night. Those static vertical dark bars in the exhaust plume are an interesting phenomenon. We could see those in the Mirage exhausts. too. There is a scientific explanation for them that I won't repeat here.
The sun has been in hiding for what feels like weeks. Should have put on The Beatles "Here comes the Sun"....
