Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Enjoy your work seakayaker, good to get a look around an interesting place I've never visited . The number of boats in that marina is incredible!

We loved those gardens and my wife was particularly taken by the deep rich colouring of the building, so much so that she brought a tin back to Canada which is still have unopened. I’ll have to remind her about it.
The sky was always the beautiful clear blue shown in your pic ...
I can recommend a week in Marrakech to anybody, especially to anybody in the UK wanting some sun during the grey winter days.

Thanks for your kind words. The Elliot Bay marina is large but a a couple of miles north the Shilshole Marina is even larger.
I sailed out of Elliot Bay Marina for a number of years on a Alejuela 33. The Pacific Northwest is a very nice area of the world to visit. Seattle is an interesting city and you do not have to go very far to be out in the wilderness.

Thanks...I have a different view Steve but one that is too laborious to discuss here. As a member of the selection panel to choose Kuma-san as the architect in 2014 I'm delighted to see it as a realised building for the first time today.
I'm delivering an oration at his award of an honorary degree next week - most humbling I have to say. It's a great building.

I don't wish to take the thread off topic any longer but I will say just that it will be interesting to see what the final Tay front vista will look like. The V&A building in isolation is an interesting and arresting piece of architecture and we will all be very interested to see how the exhibits work internally with natural light provided by the design.
I got to see inside today Steve but am forbidden on pain of death from sharing anything !
