Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

I took a couple of probably would be considered technically crap pictures of London this week too, but I like them. Nice sunny day on Monday

I know everyone takes pictures of the Golden Gate, so I thought I'd post something different. En route to the Amoeba record store here - This shot caught my attention.

Peter,
A great tight composition. I guess that the sign of Prevent Runaways refers to your photography as well.

Cheap shot George, you do yourself a disservice
Proper evaluation and reasoned discussion of the Akiva at my place any time you like. Many people here use Akiva's and love them. However, I apprciate your mind is already made up.
Now back on topic please.
Yes Haim, doesn't bear thinking about really - Such busy streets! Not everyone has their wheels turned in though!

San Francisco is a very photogenic city:-
One from the coach tour, on last years CA dreaming.
The famous wibbly wobbly road. Lombard Street. We drove it later on our return to the city.
Bloody tourists eh?

Demolition men!
I am amazed that Anna did not crown us even if we were doing what she wanted!
Good memories!

I worked in the Amoco...oops..Aon building for a couple of years and if you had framed your picture a little to the left of the Prudential building you would have captured my apartment on the junction of Michigan and Randall.
Cheers

That was my old work hood for 10 years. i had a lot of carryout stops b/w MI and Wabash, north of Lake and south of Jackson.
Lots of good memories there. i used to hit the Tower Records on Wabash a lot, closed now.
Did you ever catch the symphony at the Chicago Cultural Center? Nice place (not the best acoustics though).

Yes. And before it was taken over by Tower Records, Rose Records on South Wabash used to be the largest record store in the world. I still have 600 of their LPs purchased in the early eighties.

I started working in the loop in 94 and remember it being Rose records.
I worked at Arthur Andersen at 69W Washington back then and remember another record store at Washington/Lasalle?, can't recall the name.
I lived by the Lincoln Park Tower for a number of years too so I always had easy access to both stores.
I found a cool little exchange here in Phoenix called Zia's but they closed the one by my house recently. I still have a location within several miles but I wonder how long it will last.
