Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Tools of the trade (although it's a hobby, for the moment) with the edge of Glen Brittle on Skye in the background - just off the road at Sligachan.....was a lovely evening - and no midges as it was the beginning of May.

Novelty,
This is a masterpiece a la 21st century Henri Cartier-Bresson, telling us a magnificently rich tale of a particular instant in a distant world. Enjoy your travels and keep capturing (and sharing them with us) your encounters.

It was a lovely morning a couple of days ago in the Lake District so we walked round Derwent Water.
Looking towards Skiddaw from the west -
There are some interesting sculptures, in wood and stone, scattered around -

Flame,
I sometimes go slack-jawed at photos shown here, such as the stunning shot by Tonym above. Mine just aren't a patch on them. But hey, thanks!

Don't be so modest Tony! To me, everyone else's photos look pretty wonderful, & better than mine.

All in all, I think we are putting together a reasonably nice collection that hopefully the whole forum enjoys. What I find to be particularly nice, is how each one has his own style in photography regardless of the subject matter. Let's keep it up

Flame - Could agree with you more, that's what I love about photography, and it's interesting to see other's ideas/methods captured, making me think more about what I shoot and how to broaden my skills....
Tony - love how you've still got some motion there in the prop's, nice one!

I bet you get some cracking sunsets in your neck of the woods Flame. Trouble is, they're over so fast there!

How nice to have the wide open spaces for your sunsets, mine are a bit more constricted:-
Mind you the daughter found some room in Oz:-

Those sunset images are amazing guys, all of them! I might have brought back a couple of OK ones. I'll have to download them and work on them. Might be able to share some tonight. The pity is that we don't get that many clouds around here so it does take away from the drama.
