Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Oh no, they all have them. Did you see the one in China? Hundreds of km long and went on for 10 days. I'm laying $h!+ on traffic, not the UK, actually. Everything I love is made worse by cars. I just hate them.
Quick anecdote: Here in Vancouver, they spent a fortune on preserving an historic (dead) tree in Stanley Park. Did they enhance the dead-tree visitor experience by doing some nice landscaping and gardens around it? Did they heck. They surrounded it with a carpark. The general stupidness of a car-centric society is so pervavsive, most people don't even notice how it is ruining their lives.
I lived in the UK for a few years, and yes, some of the plumbing sucks.

Some great skies there chaps! Love skies...
Tony, I'm just round the corner from Wattisham (Battisford way). You'd be more than welcome to pop round for a cuppa.
A nice sunrise this morning. I was a bit late getting out so missed most of the lovely mist -

Not really - a few trees are starting to go over but not enough to give a real autumn display yet.

A very poor first contribution.
Lake Tekapo NZ. Shot on the way home yesterday. A decent photographer might have really made something of the subject matter !!!!

PS Just checked the details, and this shot was handheld at 1/4 second! Thank you, image stab and a sturdy wall.
