Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Thanks, Guys.
Here is some history of the very special bike, the only one in existence:

Terry Good who owns the bike and used to race Motor-cross and I took the the RC-125M to the city for a photo shoot-out for an upcoming twelve pages article which is going to be written by him and published soon.

Another couple of beautiful photographs here. Flame certainly sees opportunities in Saudi that I never did.

The Carlton rebuild is now as near finished as makes no difference.
It is now my sole method of private transport.

This 120 plus year old piece of English manufactured and designed technology is still keeping splendid time [zero to twenty seconds a day of gain, and will run for 40 hours between re-winding], so what went wrong?
No Carlton Cycles or Benson watches being made in the UK nowadays. Yet they rivalled the best made anywhere at the time ...

Thank you for the kind words Tony. I have no option but to follow the saying "when given lemons make lemonade". Just trying to make the most of whatever little is around

That second image from George is very beautiful.

Lake Tekapo NZ. Shot on the way home yesterday. A decent photographer might have really made something of the subject matter !!!!
Cheers

Don't be too hard on yourself there. A very good shot for a first effort. I found that you only improve you photography by reading and then going out and taking some shots, so keep it up.

This one I'm posting for Tony Lockhart. Maybe it will bring back some memories from the old days. The sign reads "Riyadh".

Actually, is says Al Riyadh lol. I taught myself to read worm writing while I was there. It came in very handy for catching out my trainees using a mate's leave application! I'm a bit rusty now, so no tests please.....

Not a great pic, I know, but I was a happy little boy yesterday after meeting my dad's new neighbour and one of his nice cars. A lovely, interesting guy, was a Team Lotus test driver in 1959, and can still drive well.... as I hope to find out soon.

At last I have finally caught the elusive brute!
The bike itself is not elusive or a brute, but it is a monster to get a good photo of!
But this catches it and gives a hint of its nature. Not an ounce of fat on this! If Naim made bikes they would be like this: Spare, and totally engaging, but not for those who want the ride smoothed out along the way!
ATB from George.
PS: Next summer I shall ride this venerable old machine from Oslo to Skurdalsvatn, which is about 160 miles, so a two-day journey - and two days back of course, via Drammen and also over a 2000 metre mountain along the way!

A sunny Sunday afternoon in my little village which unusally boasts a BMX track. Great for the kids.
Taken with my mobile into the sun so an 'OK' result I guess.

George,
That is everything a bicycle should be. Much more of this and I'll have to take it up again...
