Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

I see what you mean Lontano. You are right, that blue color on the leafs is distracting. I guess you didn't want to selectively remove it from the leafs.

Zebras on an overcast day. The rains that started early November this year have a quite dramatic impact on the scenery. A few weeks later, and this shot would have mostly turned out green.

A bloody miserable afternoon in Cambridge yesterday, while the ex-girlfriend had her hair done. I hope these pics get the feeling across!
Yep, even the bloody gulls were bloody miserable!

Nice Zebra EJS
I just got back from Kruger NP. I have never seen it so green, the extensive grass burns of last year plus the heavy early rains have made vast stretches just simply verdant.
The downside is the the bush is all greened up very quickly & apart from zebra & wildebeest, the majority of the rest has gone deep into bush & as many species can live off the lush bush & grass alone, they do not need to be close to water.
The result is the water holes are a waste of time for sightings, & looking thru dense green bush makes for very hard & slow viewing.

Mike, agree. I was there the first week of November, that was when the first rains came down (some HUGE thunderstorms, right we were staying in a tent in Lower Sabie). The good thing is - when you get a picture, chances are it's spectacular. I posted some of this trip's bounties earlier in this thread. Hope you also got some great views?

Nice bike shot Tony! Do I understand that the ex-girlfriend was a girlfriend at the time the picture was taken but was no longer so by the time the picture was processed and posted? I am surprised a few pictures have such an effect!

Thanks for the positive comments. Ex-girlfriend, because I married her! Flame: I really missed the seasons while at Dhahran, but crikey, it's a very dry cold out there right now, and of course there's the joy of clearing car windows and making my way to Wattisham. Four measly miles from Tonym's heavenly system and cosy listening-house!!
