Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Thanks James. I'll see what else I have! My father in-law lives there.

Overlooking Cusop Dingle, near Hay-on-Wye at the weekend.

Dear Scott,

Your picture shows why I never have wanted to leave the slow delights of Herefordshire. This might be just into Wales, but I see little difference between the Borders, and the counties of Shropshire and Herefordshire.

And if we face a world increasingly unhappy in future, at least this part of the world will feel it less. Worcestershire is reasonable compromise between working and being close to a more relaxed ambiance.

I know parts of Norway and Poland that have equal delights and equally far from "the action."

Hi George,

Actually this is looking south-east so it is still England but no matter the whole area is beautiful. If I could get work around there I think we would both consider a move. We have friends in Pembroke so Hay is a good half way point for us to catch-up and this was our third visit since our return from Oz last year.

Cheers
Scott

Thanks Winky.

Guess it was easy giving up the view you had for such a nice house in the woods...

More snow overnight, I love the view in the early morning before the kids mess up all the snow.

Holty towers in the snow!

A warmer reception inside, thankfully.

Not too sure about here though?

General question.

How do you put a copyright statement on a picture?

You can do it using photo software like Lightroom, probably photoshop elements as well and others.

A trip to a place called Edge of the World. We had a BBQ against that magnificent view.
