Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Count'd

I rate that has the best pic ever on this forum. Better even than Vuks.

I take my hat off to you.

Count, that is extremely extremely beautiful! The backlit ice on the tree is lovely and the light scatter compliments the whole thing. I assume this is HDR, but I wonder how did you loose the background like that. Thanks. (sorry, the technical nerd in me can't shut up :P )

Thank you very much for the kind words.

Flame, I'll post some details about the pic later. I've just put a question about this pic in the Hifi Corner thread "Hiline Untouchable" thread, which may be interesting...or not!

Not claiming any great accolades as a photographer, but we were glad to again host the local Hospice service (each candle has been lit by a next of kin in memory of a departed loved one).

I am now off until Jan 3rd and, all things being equal, will be all be all but living in the winter hills until then.
