Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

(Is that your 513 in the avatar photo?)

Yep - my pride and joy, great fun to play and, with the devaluation of the pound, it is even turning out to be a good investment. Now if only I had some talent!

Nice. I just bought new American Telecaster Deluxe. But a shop near here has a PRS HB II at good price. Tempting.....

Hello Big,

This was shot at around 10 PM (sunset was at 7 PM) on a beach in Sharm , Egypt I wanted to use the full bright moon for the lighting and did that with the following settings, Manual, ISO 800, F5.6, Exposure 10s, 18mm and manually focused to infinity. The picture turned out significantly better than what I thought it might. The second one shares similar settings. It has the look of HDR but it isn't

Hello Fabio,

I'm shooting with a Nikon D90 and using the kit 18-105 Nikkor. It has a bit more barrel distortion compared to the 18-55 Nikkor but not so much to bother me. The reason you probably don't notice the distortion on the second image is that the edges were slightly cropped out.

I really like you last photo.

Fabio, the last image of the boat is excellent. Love the black and white tones. Are you on flickr?

I know they're only weeds, but I think this little patch of Convulvulous growing by the side of our lane is lovely :-
