Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Tony,

Apart from the gorgeous picture, do you usually have the balance on the 102 that far over?

Not usually, but sometimes I sit on a sofa that's left of the left speaker. It's not ideal for serious listening, but it does the job. Serious listening involves moving the other sofa a few feet.

Yellowstone, June 11 2011. We were on a lookout, when people on a nearby parking lot started to shout. Turned around, and this small black bear comes out of the woods, at about 10m distance. Lens on duty was 300 f/4, a bit too long in this case but what can you do? The bear passed us without so much as looking up.

Of course he didn't look up. They only go for f2.8 or better. Tony

Tony, your "waiting room" and burned incense looks beautiful.I appreciate the classic settlement in the first one:I mean the "gold section"(free translation from Italian),please let me know how do you call it in English.I think you know what I mean when you put the subject up-right,up-left or down-right,down-left.

Fabio,

Thanks for your kind comments. I've no idea what the English term is, so I can't help you.
My iPhone 4 and Photoshop app are proving to be quite handy though.
