Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

More Autumn colour outside our home

My wife dug this out from our Cuban honeymoon 13 years ago, very evocative. Gotta go find the others now.

Sorry, can't quite get the hang of osting pics from Flickr...

This was taken last month on the Isle of Man when I went to visit my dear old Mum.

No, me neither. I discovered the easiest way is to view your image on Flickr, hit the + sign at the top. then on the black border page there's a bit with sizes. Click there. When they come up, click on the medium size. Then right click on the image it puts up and click on 'copy image  location'. Then you can just paste this into the 'insert image' box on the forum reply box. Once you've done it, it's a lot quicker than it sounds.

Quality ain't all that though. I'm sure there's a way to post a higher quality image but I know this doesn't involve copying the html code Flickr presents you with!

OK, so technically it's very good and with a large format camera and tilt shift it should be...But FOUR MILLION BUCKS?!?!?

No photo is worth that amount of money. Anyone who paid that is fool with more money than sense.

And yes, it is boring. Very boring.

A couple of shots taken in Ipswich -

Well done Tony, you've just ruined any pleasant surprises for future visitors to Ipswich. Those shots show the only 'nice' things in that town. Do you have anti-hijack locks on the car? Tony

If anyone's interested, adobe are running a promotion on the price of Lightroom 3 from their website. Even better though, Amazon's been running it in their Black Friday deals at around midday this week priced just over hundred quid instead of two hundred and something,
