Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Great photos chaps, but isn't it a real shame we now only have half a screen to look at them?
Posted on: 28 November 2011 by Tony Lockhart

Yep, only about three times the size of an iPhone 4 screen! Looks a little silly on a 24" or larger screen, that's for sure.

"On (forum)topic" - the soon to be House of Music in Aalborg, DK a few yards down the road from my place. Acoustics is promised to be "word class". In part achieved by suspending/decoupling the main concert hall - much like a 500-series blackbox. Hopefully it'll be just about OK!

So given the appearance of the dirt surface and the object in the night sky, is this actually being built on The Moon, not Denmark?

JamieWednesday: nah, I agree about the appearance of the dirt, so it seemed natural to let photoshop lend mother nature a hand in filling in the missing piece

Is it really necessary to edit the html code directly in order to pull a picture directly from Picasaweb? I simply wanted to post the picture without it being a clickable link - and it turned out far more complicated than expected (I had to set the size manually as the original was too big).

Its a great catch on cam - they can be quite temperamental, so I was wondering wether its tele-zoom or a daring close range shot - looks like the latter...

Interesting style - not sure if its my cup of the, but defenitely catches the eye. I viewed the slide show on flickr, and wether purposely or not, the transition-effect combines nicely with the repeated but differently colored photographs. Do you have any specific source of inspiration for these photographs?

One of the pictures will be used for a wedding invitation so it won't be very big. They were all taken with a portable flash in a softbox, mainly because there was really low light levels.
