Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

How do you insert/paste photos, by the way???

Hello Kevin,

It's a Fujifilm Finepix X100. My Contax G2 film camera was becoming a bit of a flat experience so I sold it. I always loved the look and feel of it so this replacement was perfect for me.

It's a lovely looking camera to be sure. I've borrowed my friend's on a couple of occasions and it takes wonderful pictures. The menu system I find a bit of a faff but the viewfinder is superb and the lens very impressive. I'm a big Leica fan but thought the X100 blew the Leica X1 out of the water - and for £300 less!

Sometimes [or probably often] the potential is also very much realized by working the limits of the circumstances. For example, with my "Busride"-picture on the previous page I knew, due to the low-light/moving-bus conditions, there was no way I was going to be able to do a "normal" exposure whence the underexposed look was an obvious option.
