Try Badlands CD:10.99 ...... Vinyl: 19:49. Always shop around.
Tony,
Have preordered from Badlands. I like the free UK shipping and being able to pay via paypal.
Thanks for the heads up. Will definitely bear these in mind for the future.
Speaking of Badlands this one is available to preorder there (releasing 11th November) for £11.99 This 2 x CD version is somewhat more affordable than the very good good looking full monty Box Set of CDs, Vinyl, books and memorabilia costing a healthy £375.99
"Set across 2 CD’s, Cre/ation The Early Years 1967 – 1972 charts the evolution of the band and bears witness to their part in cultural revolutions, from their earliest recordings and studio sessions to the years prior to the release of The Dark Side Of The Moon, one of the biggest selling albums of all time.
From the single Arnold Layne to the 24-minute epic Echoes, fans will see the invention of psychedelic progressive rock via an insightful collection that explores the Pink Floyd story from the time Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Nick Mason and Syd Barrett met at London’s Regent Street Polytechnic, through to Syd’s departure and David Gilmour joining to form the iconic lineup." - The blurb
* As an edit to the above I should say that Badlands are selling the full box set £11 cheaper than the Amazon price of £375.99
Stevee,
I think the blurb is a bit misleading as, according to the tracklist on Badlands/Amazon the 2 CD collection does not include "the 24-minute epic Echoes". It does, however, include the track "Nothing 14" which presumably is a version of "The Return of the Son of Nothing" which was the working title for what eventually became "Echoes".

Sjabbery Well spotted and thanks for flagging it up. I'll still going go ahead with buying them as it should be interesting listening and a bit of a bargain for two 2016 remasters which I hope have been sympathetically done and a bit of previously unreleased.
