Fillers as per all the other multi CD reissues, like the 200 CD version of Kind of Blue, etc etc.

All very unnecessary IMO, most of the stuff is fluff, if a take wan't on the original, there was probably a reason. Just because there is now room on the CD is not enough reason to add them.
Un-released "original" stuff ? Maybe a case can be made for this type of material.

Also SW seems obsessed with multi disc box sets. £££s

Big H, I tend to agree on this one. That confused me even trying to understand what all the different versions are.

Has anyone bought the new 40th anniversary Steve Wilson versions of KC and compared to the 2004 30th anniversary - the maths escapes me here. Won't be long then until the 50th anniversary versions are out.

How many more friggin versions does the world need of BOTR?
So what's this 30th, 35th anniversary or just time to empty a few more pockets.
With his cash flow, we ought to charge him to take them off his hands, same for that PC chappie (computers, not drums)? Smile

With you on this one. Probably the only decent album he made post Beatles. One for completionists and collectors.

I agree his only decent post Beatles album.

We must stop agreeing? Smile

I agree except for McCartney, Ram, Wild Life, Red Rose Speedway, Venus And Mars, London Town, Back To The Egg, McCartney II. Tug Of War. Pipes Of Peace, Press To Play, Flowers In The Dirt, Flaming Pie, Chaos And Creation In The Backyard and Memory Almost Full - apart from those and his Beatles albums I hardly play anything by Sir Paul.

...and sometimes ROTF is just WRONG! Smile

Save money and just keep playing BOTR, from what I've heard most sound the same as it.

I'm still waiting for the reissue of Van M's St Dominic's Preview which was due out 2 or 3 years ago (with bonus track 'Brandy').

What happened? My guess is the Grumpy One took a disliking to the cover shot with that rip in his flared Falmers.
