Big hand from me for this one. Sign up for the CD now and they send you a preview track every week. First three are great!

(The album is Jeff Tweedy (of Wilco fame) with his son as drummer I believe. Called Sukierae

Nice article, thanks for that.

The tracks I have downloaded so far are just great-although I'm a big Wilco fan so maybe not the most independent critic.

Damien Rice "My Favorite Faded Fantasy"

US release November 11, 2014

A long time waiting for new music from him, saw

him live touring "O", one of the most sublime

nights of music I ever experienced.  The encore was

Damien alone, barefoot at edge of stage, a cappella - you

could have heard a pin drop as 600 people hung,

breathless, on every syllable, every word.  Chilling memory more than ten years later.

I have been waiting for years for this unique album to get a vinyl release. Amazon have it up as released on 17.11.14 pre order price £26.99 with prime.

This is from the Amazon Product Description

'Officium' is one of the iconic albums, a recording that altered musical perceptions and became a huge international best-seller in 1994. It is now released for the first time on vinyl, exactly 20 years after its original release on CD.

The appearance of this audiophile version, pressed on 180g vinyl, also marks the 30th anniversary of ECM New Series and the 40th anniversary of The Hilliard Ensemble. The vocal quartet and saxophonist Jan Garbarek also recorded two further albums, 'Mnemosyne' and 'Officium novum' and have given countless concerts around the world over the past two decades. Before The Hilliard Ensemble disbands at the end of 2014, they and Garbarek make a farewell tour, performing many more Officium concerts in Britain and Europe.
