As the original post is no more I thought I would start a new one.

I ordered this a long time ago and I doubt that I will ever see it?  Was looking forward to this one a lot.

It is available on Spotify Premium (US).  Not sure if that helps.

I have a high hope for this one. Hope they didn't screw up the mastering. :/

This is a real great album, you will like it.

I am adding one more to my Music Matters 33 rpm collection.

Every one of their 33rpm series album I bought so far is consistently excellent and much better than any other reissues I have bought in the past. I highly recommend them even if you don't dig the classic jazz just try one for the sonic stand point as these reissues sound so brilliant on a Naim system.

Music Matters reissues.

See kuma's comments above about John Coltrane. I totally agree.

Fremer gave this new reissue of Hejira 10/10 and claims it's better than the original.

This is said to be done with the same team who remastered Court and Spark a few years back so will see.

I was listening to the original pressing earlier and sounded pretty good to me.

Kuma, it's Speakers Corner

Thanks.

Curious to see what they did with it. I've the 2 eye original but the piano is clangy and nasaly and very dry studio sound.

Would you let me know how it turns out? ( as Speakers Corner reissues have been such a hit and miss )

It started off at £112, Its now £67 on the river so took a punt.

Hand Numbered limited to 3000 only.

I originally bought this as a Christmas present for a friend but having played it to check the vinyl?

Its staying because its brilliant.

I have been waiting for this brilliant young lady's debut album for over two years.

Pre ordered for January 26th release.

Blast from the past. Natural Blaze. Uplifting house music I used to listen to.

This is probably her last vinyl LP release ( 1990 ). This is one of my favourite CD from the past again. She should sound even better on the vinyl.

A few Youtube samples sounded promising. It reminds me of Haden's 'Night and the City' for energy level. RIP Charlie.

What version of Bobs album ?

Were the KEFs the black ones?

Posted on: 04 December 2014 by Richard Dane

It's the original UK issue mid '80s thin vinyl pressing.  John Dent/Sound Clinic cut.

The Corellis are the early ones - type SP1051.
