As the original post is no more I thought I would start a new one.

Arrived today in the post:

I hope it was all right. I bought a copy from HMV in Milton Keynes on Monday and side 2 had five tracks instead of two with somebody tinkling on the piano - couldn't work out what it was from the deadwax. What I heard of the Clapton/King was an improvement on my CD, although the music itself is a bit patchy, I think. As a matter of interest, when I took the LP back for exchange I was told that they were doubling the vinyl section in the MK HMV.

Robert Earl Keen. Happy Prisoner - The Bluegrass Sessions.

Saw a review of this in Uncut and heard some tracks on internet radio so I dug out a couple of his 20+ year old albums and decided it was time to re-aquaint myself with his music. More Americana than Blurgrass but a pleasant listen.

Very clean UK mono vinyl -  something I originally bought back in the days of the 60s blues boom and then probably sold to pay for something new.
