Am a big fan of Calexico. If you've never listened, they deliver a really nice mix of Americana, TexMex and indie rock music. Walked into a local record store yesterday and, much to my deight, they had gotten in reissues of six of the band's concert-only releases from the late 1990s and early 2000s. This is just one of them:
Am listening now to an old favorite, and one their best albums IMO called Feast of Wire. Am also looking forward to next month's new release, Edge of the Sun.
+1 Feast Of Wire.
I'll have to check if the concert-only releases are available in UK.
Saw them live about 2 years ago, excellent concert. No problem getting tickets, they're not that well known in UK, although I don't know why.
Part of my haul of used vinyl this afternoon included three LPs from Elvis Costello & The Attractions.
Original Atlantic vinyl 1974 : )
3 x LP - CBS / Bar-coded rear cover - reissue from 1990 i think.
A couple of great buys from yesterdays wigwam show : )

Great buys indeed, Debs. I haven't listened to that Herbie's album in a while. Albert Lee on Mellow Yellow is a special treat. Enjoy them!
That Herbie album is the best £5 i've every spent on pre-owned vinyl, fab music, and plays like new!

I think Feast of Wire is probably their best - I am hoping the new one will be good. The live LPs have been fairly widely available in the UK - I have picked up a few. I have tickets to see them later in April at Shepherds Bush.
A fun evening ahead! The latest two reissues from Music Matters arrived today (Dexter Gordon's Our Man in Paris and Herbie Hancock's Empyrean Isles) along with this wonderful sounding 33rpm reissue from Org Music (ORGM-1085, pressed at Pallas in 2013).
Satie Slow Music. A new release from Brilliant Classics.
Unknown piano player, Jeroen van Veen.
Curious to find out what kind of vinyl this label is putting out. The only vinyl Satie I have is Ciccolini's who sadly passed away early this year.
Next try:
Fleetwood Mac, Tango in the Night
Original vinyl from 1987, bought at an Easter fleemarket in Hamburg.
Washed and now playing pretty well for the money.
Cheers
Ralf
