What was the last vinyl you bought?

Arrived today in the post:
Today's pick from the local store.
I had a good haul from a record shop whilst down in Devon last weekend. Prices are much cheaper than here in London. I paid an average of less than £20. I paid £140 for all eight LPs. Result.
1st press in great condition but unfortunately no poster.
A nice minty first press.
An excellent second press pink rim Island.
First press Harvest.
1st press MCA. Has been well played but SQ is still excellent.
First press Regal Zonophone in pretty good nick.
Second press pink rim Island.
Reprise first press. My one disappointment as the LP looks excellent but has some surface crackle.
I also raided my father's collection as well, although I've already had the good stuff.
Not being one for buying reissue vinyl unless I have to, I decided to take a punt on this vinyl reissue from Repertoire as the original is very silly money now.
It is a nicely produced package with a very good reproduction gatefold sleeve and nice flat quiet vinyl. It was mastered at Abbey Road Studios and, although I think there was a digital transfer the SQ is pretty good and certainly acceptable.
This is a very pleasant album to listen to. I just love Linda Hoyt's vocal, a little like Julie Driscoll.
Jack White-Lazaretto Many thanks for the comments before on the forum that side 1 had the groove direction reversed.
Instead of having a Record Store Day my local secondhand record store had a one day only half price sale. I bagged these first presses.
I also bought If's first album on Pink Island but it didn't sound as good as it looked and returned it.
Some good tracks with Martin Stone on guitar.
Dusty Springfield and Bobby Gentry are my 'guilty' pleasures

No need to feel guilty Steve
Graham.
this has just arrived! I wait for Ewemon to tell us he has a special limited edition with extra tracks!
and
and this but the original RCA vinyl which has a different cover! This will take a little will to find my way into I think. I have been reading a book called Orfeo by Richard Powers which has this discussed in it. An astonishing book and worth a read too.
A few days ago I couldn't resist picking up a still-sealed copy of Thomas Dolby's Aliens Ate My Buick. I remember weighing up whether to get the CD or the LP when it was first released. Back then I chose the CD. The cover-art is so much better when it's LP sized...
Really great cover and one of the reasons why vinyl is so appealing compared to any other media.
This is a really great sampler from Pacific (1956) Side one has a great commentary on the west coast jazz scene of the time with some great music in between and individual tracks on the b side.
p.s. sorry, lots of "greats" but they are all relevant
Another Profil/Thorens Staatskapelle Dresden LP.
Features 4 conductors:
Sir Colin Davis - Berlioz
Bernard Haitink - Bruckner
Giuseppe Sinopoli - Strauss
Kyrill Kondrashin - Shostakovich
I am most interested in hearing Sinopolis' Death and Transfiguration.

Deb.
Can you tell who did the mastering and press this new Naim record?
Any credit info anywhere?
Hi Kuma,
sorry no idea who did the mastering, no mention on the album cover.
But it does say: Pressed at Optimal Studio, Germany.
Musically it's an eclectic mix but imo it flows easy on the ear from one track to next.
At this point of time i've only played side 1 & 2 and can confirm the SQ is superb, no surface noise, very fine pressings, and tbh i'm rather digging the music and very glad i bought this compilation double vinyl : )

Thanks Debs.

Incredibly happy I bought this...Wow
Wonderful Sound, and features Eddie Harris vocalizing in falsetto. Two thumbs way up.
