Bad Company on 180g vinyl. Sometimes forget how good an album this is, and excellent on vinyl

Hi Denis, hope you are well, thanks for the heads up on this. Heard "God Song" on This is England 99 last week sounded excellent.

Regards Graham.

Hi Denis, hope you are well, thanks for the heads up on this. Heard "God Song" on This is England 90 last week sounded excellent.

Regards Graham.

I'm fine thanks Graham, hope you are well also. Strange thing, I've recently walked past the Rich Mix Cinema (where I spoke to Shane & Gavin after last years the 'Living Room' DVD launch) and got goose bumps each time. Such a sad loss, but Gavin had been troubled for a long time. I've not seen any explanation for his death, but hope his family are coping. There was a recent event that involved Toydrum among others to celebrate Gavin's life and hope it was filmed. I'll keep a look out for anything and let you know.

This arrived today, on vinyl, but will be going straight back as there is terrible surface noise during quiet periods and in between tracks. :smt013 :smt013
I also noticed while playing side B that the arm and headshell is moving side to side by a few millimeters!!
Does anybody know what is the causing this, is it off center? :[ :shock:

I only have had the chance for quick listen to Sides 1 and 2 this evening. I agree with Varyat that it sounds very good. No chance to compare it to my Classic Records pressing yet. Cue Kuma!

@matt/varyat -

thanks for that, nice to know. MFSL usually delivers.There have been mixed views on this one though on another music forum, complaints like overwhelming bass, not enough detail, off center pressings/scratched side! I have quite a number of  KOB pressings and I am on the fence for this one.
