I got my copy yesterday too Steve, following recommendation from an old forum member. Rather good I think.

The Doors - Strange Days - Rhino 180g Vinyl

Impressive all round!
- Great album that I've never heard in it's entirety before
- Amazing recording quality (1967!!!) but I would love to hear the mono mix
- Beautifully quiet heavyweight vinyl (Rhino do seem to produce some very nice pressings)

This is the deluxe edition, three extra tracks.

Great stuff if you like that sort of thing, which I do.

Part of Analogue Production Prestige Mono reissue.

Know nothing of this piano player except that he died at young age of 42 due to drug overdoes.

What's up with jazz musicians and their narcotics problem!

Two more gems from my man at the market. Both are minty 1st presses and were less than half book price.

Also bought some blues albums which I'll post later.
