As the original post is no more I thought I would start a new one.

Arrived today in the post:

Have you got your S/L back yet?

Regards Graham.

Graham,

Yes I bought it from Amazon for £31. Worth every penny for the 3 LPs as I know this will get played regularly, unlike Arcade Fire which would probably have been played once and forgotten about.

I will have my SL back next Friday as my dealer's running it in and checking it out before bringing it over.

Original 1970 1st press double album in excellent condition. £20 from the market man.

A nice minty copy on Decal for a tenner.

Wow you have some "market man" better keep quite or we will all be down there on a Saturday morning.

We have a "market man" in York and at times he has some great finds but not as off the mainstream as yours.

Pete is very good. He must have at least 3000 LPs for sale at any one time. Yes he knows what I like and tips me the wink every now and then. He has a new arrivals rack which makes it easy to check for    something different when I don't have much time. I have to say it's usually hard not to buy something.

His prices are also very fair.

Why Kuma - did you wear out the other two?

First copy: the outer jacket got bunged up from travelling

Second copy: A gift to a friend

Just in case I wear it out.

Atlho since this album is such a mega hits, I'd think that no worries for going OOP any time soon.

Analogue Productions also is a hit and miss in terms of production quality, but so far I haven't been disappointed by their sound quality.

I am hoping this one will be good. It seems tho, their newer pressing have better QC in terms of production quality. All the current (1912-1913) mono series I have purchased so far are free of defect.

Can't say the same for older series pressings.

This particular Bill Evans pressing I have purchased, however,  is  older (2008) , so it will have a higher chance of production defect. Will report back when it arrives.

Well worth the purchase price just for the uncut version of "My Sharona", but I really enjoy the entire album.

This certainly takes me back 30+ years in a second.

Took a chance on this one because I really dig Nile Rogers. A lovely bit of vinyl, and most enjoyable in a funky, bouncy sort of way.
