Accept is a good place to start. My favourite Chicken Shack album is this;

Looks like that ones been reissued by MOV.
My LP12 seems to be getting further away all the time I'm spending on music .
But I can't help it this late sixties early seventies stuff is so good.
Justin Vernon and gang have delivered superb albums under the name of Volcano Choir. I can't recommend their work enough and a great recording for vinyl enthusiasts. got this for £7.99 on ebay - bargain!
These two are arriving Monday. Would like to thank SteveJ for the heads up back in December, got them both for a good price on pre-order
Graham
Hi Graham,
What are they like? I ordered these two as my original of To Mum.. is not very good and I don't have Remains....
I've had a mixed experience. The From Mum... is OK SQ wise but the Remains... LP will have to be returned. It's obviously not an analogue remaster as on track 2 side on there is classical digital dropout. The sleeve seems to be a rehash of the CD reissue I bought a few years ago. A little disappointing but I shall keep From Mum.. as the SQ is acceptable for the price and a good quality original is expensive. The music on both is superb.

Savoy Brown - Hellbound Train
Blue Decca label,First press second issue or 2nd press not sure.Arrived from Belgium today,seller listed as NM the vinyl doesn't look like it's every been played.
You'll love the title track Steve. My copy with 1st press matrices has a green label but sometimes I think they released both blue and green. Check the matrices if you want to be sure, but in that condition you shouldn't worry.
Steve
Steve it's got a laminated sleeve and matrix numbers SAHS-1616.P-1W: SAHS-1616.P-2W
Shame about the ADR record hope the one's Graham got have better SQ.

If it TLX and Blue label it's a first press mono. The stereo is TLXS and Green, like the Rolling Stones Satanic Majesties.
Enjoy

Bootlegs, something about the BBC volume two
Austra, Olympia, their second record........first I like more
Ravonettes, Observator, it's the 50s vibe from a more recent generation. Pretty in Black was better.
i quite like the Bootleg ( Beatles) album, that's my pick of the three. ( sorry could not get linked images to work - iPad fail)
I bought these two original LPs as the ones I have are a bit snap, crackle and pop.
German Bellaphon. This is a very good option to buying the UK CBS version which is expensive. I picked this up for less than £10. This is the CBS LP;
This is one of my all time favourite albums. I'm giving the the other copy to Julian H with a few other goodies for being such a good mate.

Wow, Steamhammer!! Totally forgot about this band. Must have seen them more then 40 years ago on a famous German rock tv program, way way back in the sixties or seventies. I wonder if I still would be that impressed now as when I was young and innocent. Might try to find a copy as well. Never ran into a copy (have they been released again lately?) of Steamhammer albums. While e.g. MC5 albums, which I must have discovered at the same time as Steamhammer, are all over the place these days in every record store.

Hi Steve.
Sorry for the delay Its been a bit of a week at work! I have only had chance to listen to both albums once, so these are my first impression. Both albums are flat, with little or no surface noise, its difficult to comment on the quality of the art work as I have nothing to compare the them to; but to my eye they look like pretty good reproductions, As for the SQ of both albums. I would not say they sound over digital ( bright ) or loud. I do however, prefer both the production and music on Doctor Dunbar's Prescription. Do you know if all the re-issues have used the same producer and sound engineers? All in all I'm quite pleased to have both albums in the collection especially for the price I paid on pre -order. Sorry to read you are not total satisfied.
Regards Graham.

Thanks for that Quad and my apologies for slipping this into the "Vinyl Section". I have, after your heads up, managed to snaffle a CD of this on Amazon for 0.01p + postage. There are just a couple of CDs remaining at this price if anyone is so inclined...
