Re the Division Bell box sets.

Not sure how long this will last, or why it happens, but -

If you go to PF's own site and click the link to EXCLUSIVE BUNDLES - you can get the vinyl for 19.95.

OK - you need to add P&P so it's no better than Amazon. Add that to your cart (can be deleted later)

Then click continue shopping.

Suddenly the box set is now available without any extras (same as Amazon)

Except it's £99.99

My guess - Amazon will lower the price that it currently has to match, but £49 is a bit of variance.

Thought some may find this useful.

Thoroughly loving this.

Superb non compressed analogue recording as usual (it's a double, with around 50 mins of music)

Wow you lucky devil. I have a couple of the individual albums. The sound quality is fantastic. Check out LA Woman.

@Geofiz,

I'd be interested to hear what you think of the value of the latest NY package.

Well, without having played anything yet, already ahead on this purchase.  Pre-ordered on Amazon and glad I did.  The local retailers (the few that are carrying the box set) are selling at $110+, about $30 over the Amazon pre-order price.  Will definitely be interesting to compare the "direct feed from the booth LP" to the "standard LP" and 45's.  Probably more curiosity than anything but .....

Let you know tomorrow if anything changes.

Cheers

Hi Joe

Here in the UK pre-order price I paid at Amazon was £80 - it is now £141 and most retailers are selling it for £140 - £150. I'd say the box (a lovely thing) was worth the lower price, but not the higher.

I notice that prices in the States seem to be much, much lower  (same is true for the LZ boxes) than they are here.

Hi Geof

Oddly, I prefer the "dirty" version to the "Direct feed" - I've no idea why. I haven't listened to those gorgeous 6" singles yet though.
