Arrived today in the post:
LZ 1 super deluxe box set (vinyl, CD, hi-res download):
LZ II super deluxe box:
LZ III super deluxe box (the best looking of the bunch IMO)
@Geofiz,
I'd be interested to hear what you think of the value of the latest NY package.
Hi Joe
Here in the UK pre-order price I paid at Amazon was £80 - it is now £141 and most retailers are selling it for £140 - £150. I'd say the box (a lovely thing) was worth the lower price, but not the higher.
I notice that prices in the States seem to be much, much lower (same is true for the LZ boxes) than they are here.

Jack White Lazaretto, Ultra edition, arrived just now:
Looking to not hearing the unplayable (eg 78rpm) tracks!
Milt Jackson's In a New Setting (Speakers Corner/Limelight LS86006, 2013). The title referred to the new piano player joining his group -- the great McCoy Tyner! Wonderful album, impeccably pressed at Pallas, this is a real thing of beauty, both to look at and, of course, to listen to. Many will remember Milt from his earlier MJQ days. IMO, this album is a must have for fans of funky, bluesy, vibes-led jazz.

Have ordered Lazaretto for the funky vinyl. Although I'm not sure to how many of the 'special features' I will subject my beloved Roksan.
Meanwhile, this is, indeed a goodie.
James - La Petite Mort
It is a delightful mix of new developments and influences, and quite a lot of more-of-the-same. A heavy reliance on piano, a tasteful amount of violin, and a lot of the (excellent) trumpet playing from the fantastically named Andy Diagram.
It is, to my taste, just a little too shiny in its production, but this is the James sound and always has been.
There's a fairly odd 80s Disco vibe on one of the songs, but somehow they have managed to make it work.
The single Moving On (which has an excellent, and quite moving, video worth youtubing [the whole album is about death in one way or another, but very upbeat about it]) is a classic catchy James song, but the album's highlights are its opening and closing tracks.
It's good stuff (great cover/art too - worth buying the vinyl for the extra impact)
Cleaned and ready to play!
Led Zeppelin: I-II-III
Brian Blade: Landmark
Fritz Reiner: Ltj. Kije
Ray Brown: Superbass

A beautiful mint first press Track LP with insert from Pete at the market. This is a real quirky delight, a little reminiscent of some of Steve Marriott's work and hearing 'Something In The Air' on this first press is a revelation. Nicely produced by Pete Townsend who also played bass on the album.

That looks very interesting Steve. Is it your first visit to the market for sometime?
Graham.
I went last week after a two week holiday but there wasn't much of interest Graham. This one was worth waiting for though.
